CHO(Chinese Hamster ovarian)細胞において、定常発現/トランスフェクション時のプロモーターによる発現効率を比較した。デュアルレポーターシステムのFluc/Rluc比によるとウイルス由来のCMV-mlEが最も高発現。
CMVプロモーターってすごいんだなあ。

タンパク質の事前学習済みモデル(UniRep, SeqVec, ESM-1b, ESM-MSA, ProtBERT, ProtT5)から得られる表現ベクトルがタンパク質構造予測とファミリー分類タスクにどの程度応用できるかを比較評価した。各モデルからの表現を使ってMLP, ResCNN+BGRU, LightAttentionの何れかを学習した。また、ESM-1b, ESM-MSA, ProtT5を使ってアンサンブル学習すると殆どの評価でベストスコアを出した。 単独で使う場合はProtBERT以外のBERTはそれほど変わらなさそう。下流のNN構造も軽く試す分にはMLPで十分っぽい。
