古典的な転写抑制ではなく、CRISPRiがゲノム中でPAM配列探索を行うことによる実質的な酵素濃度の枯渇が抑制因子として機能している可能性があるとのこと。PAM配列編集とゲノム中の塩基の偏りを利用した抑制制御への可能性。
